Are you a small or large
EPR producer?

UK packaging EPR has three tiers - exempt, small producer, large producer. Two quick questions and we'll tell you which one applies to your business, plus what you need to do about it.

Step 1 of 2

What's your annual UK turnover?

We're looking at the most recent full financial year. Turnover from UK sales, not group revenue.

What the three tiers actually mean.

Below threshold

Your business doesn't need to register with PackUK or pay EPR fees today. But this is the threshold most growing distributors will cross within 12-24 months. Worth modelling your trajectory now.

Small producer

You register with PackUK and submit annual packaging data, but you pay reduced fees and have lighter-touch reporting. Roughly two-thirds of UK food and packaging distributors sit here.

Large producer

The full regime: bi-annual submissions, modulated fees by recyclability, and detailed per-SKU material breakdown. This is where Packlah saves the most time, because manual tracking gets impossible past 100 SKUs.
